Mere human, unaware

December 26, 2007

One last Crawford Lake photo makes tangible this secular testament:

"[Oh] the power and importance of sun, moon, and stars, the changing seasons, seedtime and harvest, clouds, rain and rivers, the oceans and the forests, the creatures and the herbs. They are with us now, co-tenants of the phenomenal universe, participating in that timeless yearning that is evolution, vivid expression of time past, essential partners in survival and with us now involved in the creation of the future." -Ian L. McHarg, 1969

But oh how much more meaningful from the perspective of a believer! How much more purposeful when life is a timeless yearning for the Father, for life everlasting.
